Instructors

Pastor Phil Curtis – BA in Religion from Oberlin College and MDiv in Pastoral Studies from Columbia International University. Founding pastor of Exeter Chapel, 1982-2019.

Now serves as Executive Director of Ministry Training Network of Southeastern New England and fills in at various churches as interim pastor.

Rev. Chuck Pierce – BA in Bible from Bob Jones University and ThM in New Testament Literature and Exegesis from Dallas Theological Seminary. Studied History and Geography in Israel.

Retired after forty years of pastoring in Massachusetts and Rhode Island to become Executive Director of MTN from 2007 to 2019. Has taught biblical and theological courses in church-sponsored Bible institutes both in Mass and RI.

Russ Kraines – BA in History from Brown University and an MA in History from the University of Rhode Island. Russ has taught in both public schools in RI and at Black Forest Academy, an international school in Germany that primarily serves the families of Christian workers in Europe, Africa, and Asia.

He now works with TeachBeyond a Christian education service that works internationally. He also serves as the Vice President of Ministry Training Network of Southeastern New England.

Dave Aucoin – Served as the senior pastor of Abundant Life Assembly of God in Swansea MA for 15 years until he retiring in 2022 to begin RIFI, the Rhode Island Institute, a Family Policy Council networked with Focus on the Family. He received a B.S. in Biblical Studies from Northpoint Bible College in Haverhill, MA and a Masters in Biblical Studies from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA.
